I am an artist and intuitive healer based in Brooklyn and have always been drawn to the art, science, and spirit of things.
My work in goldpoint and various drawing media documents my spiritual experiences, as well the those I facilitate for others. This process is interdisciplinary and has been honed over years spent investigating the intersections between art and energy healing. I intuitively developed the modality I work with today from my collaboration with creative consciousness in my practice.
On paper, I am a reiki master and certified HeartMath mentor. I also hold a master’s degree in art history and have worked on the academic side of the art world in museums and other institutions for over a decade. Although I have learned much from these varied paths, they are not my destination; rather, they have been a context through which I opened to the work that I offer today. I have never found a comfortable home in official organizations, traditions, or religions. It has been the edges and seams of these things that have called to me, the places where each of the pages meet, where the threads that bind them into a collective whole are made visible.
This foundation of academic and spiritual inquiry is woven together with my path as an artist and healer in this life. Often, pursuits that issue from our intuition rather than from a logically charted course will lead us to our greatest gifts. The most pivotal access point for my evolution has been through the art itself. As I pursued art history, the natural connection I had with my own vision began to close to the extent where I lost sight of it entirely. As happens for so many of us, my creative voice was drowned out by the hierarchy and judgements that surround art, perceptions of what it is and is not, about who gets to be an artist and who doesn’t.
After many years of estrangement from my true purpose, I entered a deeply personal inquiry into portraiture and spiritual practice. Through this work, my creative and intuitive abilities opened in tandem, and I began to see energetic and symbolic spiritual forms and the process grew into the modality it is today.
I use my abilities in the subtle realms to explore expanded forms of consciousness, connect with the multidimensional aspects of those I sit with, and create art from what is seen and experienced in this space.
I now understand my path to be that of a channel, opening to an experience of the universe that is beyond the intellect’s ability alone to access—the work of a mystic. I make this art for the healing of not only those I sit with, but for all those who see and resonate with the work, to illustrate and integrate these aspects of consciousness that reveal themselves when engaging the creative spirit through the heart.
