“Opening to our intuition is inherently opening to other forms of our own consciousness.”

This energy first appeared to me through disk forms that were situated on a continuum. Their alignment was not linear, nor was it defined by time.

Each disk felt like experiential stages on the same path. In the evolution toward the sitter’s essential energy, embodiment of the lessons of each stage was required to prepare her to fully perceive the scale of it.

Golden light from the forms in the distance was inflected in the preceding disks. There were stages of undefined immersion in this energy and withdrawal from it. Each held a sense of refining and expansion through cycles of unfolding.

There was also a feeling that when we seek the knowledge of what is to come alone, rather than embodying the experiences that will lead us there, we will remain in our current frame of reference, the vastness of the essential energy obscured.

Vision also requires embodiment in the present.

The final threshold opened to an infinite field of golden spheres. They felt like potentialities…a kind of interdimensional nursery for creative energy.

There was a sense that by feeling into what these potentials would like to teach us, with the commitment of a parent and the curiosity of a child, we can come to know our vision through an intentional and exploratory state of wonder.

A number of these spheres rose above the field, creating a kind of constellation. They felt like the works that would comprise the contributions of the sitter in this life.

While the number of spheres in this constellation is finite, they bear the imprint of the original field energy and will carry this resonance with them in their individual manifestations.

In our creative endeavors, we can feel so much pressure to create work that somehow represents the entirety of our vision and potential.

This form served to remind us that the resonance of the whole is always present and that the cumulative effect of our respective creative constellations unifies aspects of our vision.

Lindsay

Lindsay can do anything in this life. A soul born with such natural vibrance, intelligence, and pure will, she carries the capacity to bring into material form something that is far beyond it.

Lindsay is an artist, filmmaker, and great healer of the self. She is also a healer of others through her work. By transforming her experience with chronic Lyme into a forthcoming documentary, Lindsay engages the realms of art and social impact—hallmarks of the important work of the storyteller.

With this project nearly completed, what lies ahead is to see the extent of her light…and to choose it.

While I was working, I saw a golden line of consciousness—a form that has appeared as the line of the soul in other portraits—emerge from Lindsay’s crown. The constellation of energies above the infinite field in “Stellar Inflection” appeared in resonance with the energy of the sitter’s throat and rose from her lips, expanding out into the space around her.

I was reminded that opening to our intuition is inherently opening to other forms of our own consciousness.

For those of us who have such natural ability, sometimes the projections and judgements of others cloud over these innate gifts…as if our true energetic composition doesn’t quite belong. We can dampen of the flow of this energy, so as not to disturb those who are threatened by it (those who have yet to embrace their own light).

In these cases, we can become adept students of the path of the mind, great practitioners within the system, channeling this intuition, tempering it so as not to arouse suspicion.

Yet, embodying the reaches of our full consciousness requires an untethering from the structures that have defined, restricted, and laid claim to our intuitive power and creative potential.

Consciousness is sovereign.

May she see her light and flesh out the shape of these manifestations through her own intuitive rising…seeking illumination for herself and for others through the light of this field.
