“Ground into the earth the radiant sun of your being. A union within the self. This, your radiance, belongs.”
The Spectrum (detail)
During this sitting, I saw a kind of portal. The energy was fluid and multicolored in a constant state motion. There was a sense of heightened sensory stimulation and visceral aliveness.
This form was surrounded by a toroidal field that took in the intensity of life like shooting stars, appearing and disappearing just as quickly. The energies of beauty and healing revolved within the gray field alongside the darker moments and disappointments.
There was a sense of holding fast to the beautiful while immersed in energetic pieces and parts left disconnected, fragments of what had been that did not nourish and yet were borne anyway.
And there was a sense of renewal within, of cultivating the wonder of being.
The Spectrum (detail)
Within the portal, there was a call for balancing the spiritual energies of feminine and masculine within the self through the process of creation. The black and white half circles represented each energy, respectively.
When united, they created a muted gray circle that became the view from the edge of the portal. At this threshold, there was a notable contrast with the richness of the inner world. This was understood as the lens through which this union had previously been experienced.
Each of us has our own relationship to the feminine and masculine. Both in our external interactions and our internal ones. Collectively, we are in the process of rectifying the historical imbalance of these energies. This portrait called for the balancing to also take place within the self so as to reverberate throughout the collective.
I was shown that this grey form was to be buried in the earth like a seed, to tend to it and allow for new growth through creative works. The inner earth becomes the ground within which we bring this union of feminine and masculine to life and balance.
The Spectrum (detail)
When the masculine and feminine joined within the earth of the self, the colors were given form and structure. They grew upward in unison, each one supporting the other, in a dance of creation. Past pain was released into the earth and stability imparted through the sitter’s movement toward the cultivation of beauty on the material plane.
In doing so, the colors became a tree of life. The sitter dancing around the form like a maypole.
Its energetic branches became a field of joy, a shelter of nourishing golden light.
The following words came through very clearly:
Ground into the earth
the radiant sun of your being
A union within the self
This, your radiance, belongs
